Assoc. Prof. Dimiter Prodanov from IICT-BAS attended Entropy 2026: Exploring Complexity and Information in Science, held on July 1-3, 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.
Organised by MDPI’s open-access journal Entropy, the conference brought together researchers from physics, information theory, complex systems, artificial intelligence, and quantum science-making it a truly interdisciplinary forum for exploring the frontiers of modern science.
Assoc. Prof. Prodanov presented a poster on “Information Geometry-Mellin Representation Correspondence in Linear Viscoelasticity”, contributing to the scientific discussion at the intersection of mathematical physics and the modelling of biological tissue behaviour-research areas directly relevant to the theoretical foundations of the VIBraTE project.
The conference offered a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with leading scientists and to explore new directions at the intersection of neurotechnology, data science, and complex systems.
