In December 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dimiter Prodanov from the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences participated in the 13th IFAC Conference on Fractional Differentiation and its Applications (ICFDA 2025) in Algiers.
The conference brought together leading researchers in fractional calculus to discuss recent advances in fractional-order modeling, memory effects, and their applications across science and engineering. During the conference, Prof. Prodanov presented his Special Issue “Fractional Differential Operators with Classical and New Memory Kernels, Second Edition.”
Participation in ICFDA 2025 contributed to strengthening international visibility of Bulgarian research in fractional calculus and fostered new opportunities for collaboration within the scientific community.
