On November 8, 2025, the VIBraTE project participated in the Ratio forum – one of the most significant popular science events in Bulgaria, which annually brings together international lecturers, researchers, students and science enthusiasts. The project’s participation aimed to popularize scientific results and present innovative research in the field of neurotechnology and brain-computer interaction.
VIBraTE team presented a specially prepared demonstration stand that attracted the attention of visitors.
Among the main highlights were:
- A hydrogel brain phantom that visitors had the opportunity to touch it and it was developed for the purposes of the project. It serves for experiments related to viscoelastic interactions between the brain and implanted electrodes.
- Video demonstrations presented by the Neurotechnology Laboratory, including: observation of fluorescent microparticles under a microscope and eye-tracking while performing various tasks.
- A scientific quiz through which the forum guests tested their knowledge of neuroscience. The initiative raised great interest and encouraged visitors to learn more about the topics underlying the project.
