The “VIBraTE” project, led by Assoc. Prof. Dimiter Prodanov, invites you to join the first national consultations in the field of neurotechnology, which will be held on December 18, 2024., organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Event program:
- 10:30 a.m. Introductory lecture by Assoc. Prof. Dimiter Prodanov, representative of Bulgaria in the UNESCO working group for the preparation of a draft Recommendation on the Ethics of Neurotechnologies.
- Panel 2: “Ethics, Rights, Principles and Technologies” – Discussion of the ethical aspects of the development and implementation of neurotechnologies.
- Panel 3: “Areas of application” – Healthcare, education, labor market, civil society as consumers.
The Recommendation, developed by UNESCO, is aimed at establishing international standards for the ethical regulation of neurotechnologies and is expected to be adopted in 2025.
