We are happy to announce our collaboration with MatriChem, an innovative Bulgarian startup and leader in the development and production of bioinks and bioresins for 3D bioprinting. MatriChem’s mission is to bridge the gap between scientific discovery and practical healthcare solutions, transforming advanced research into market-ready products that enhance patient care and safety.
This formal partnership follows a successful six-month exploratory collaboration, which yielded promising preliminary results validating the strategic potential of a hydrogel-based brain phantom concept with biomimetic mechanical properties. These findings have laid a strong foundation for advancing VIBraTE’s pioneering research toward impactful healthcare technologies.
The collaboration is further strengthened by the inclusion of Murad Redzheb, MatriChem’s founder, as an active member of the VIBraTE team. His expertise will be instrumental in guiding the development of biomimetic testing platforms, including advanced hydrogel-based brain phantoms that replicate both the viscoelastic and diffusion characteristics of brain tissue. These phantoms provide a precise and realistic environment for testing and refining implant materials, ensuring that neurotechnology applications meet the highest standards of safety, accuracy, and performance.
While VIBraTE’s commercialization efforts are non-exclusive, MatriChem’s contributions add unique value in identifying market-relevant intellectual property and accelerating the journey from lab to market. Together, VIBraTE and MatriChem are committed to translating research into practical solutions, advancing a shared vision of safer, more effective neurotechnology in healthcare. This synergy underscores VIBraTE’s mission to bridge the gap between research and application, fostering meaningful innovations in patient care.
